Screen Icons
Making a Call
There are two ways to make a call, using dial pad or DSS key:
- Lift the handset or press the Speaker key.
- Dial the number on the keypad or press a DSS key.
- Press the " # " key to immediately send the dialed digits.
To end the call, put the handset back onto the holder or press the Speaker key again.
Answering call
When your telephone rings and the light flashes:
- Lift the handset or press the Speaker key to answer the call.
- To end the call, hang up the handset or press the Speaker key again.
On a call
When the call is connected, the screen provides information about the call.
- Audio mode – Shows the call is on Handset or Speaker
- Current line – Shows the line being used for the call
- Remote party – Shows the name and number of the remote party
- Call duration – Shows how long the call has been connected
Holding call
While on a call, press the Hold key.
To retrieve a held call, press the Hold key again to resume the call.
Redialling
To redial the last number you dialed:
- Lift the handset or press the Speaker key.
- Press the Redial key to call the last dialed number.
Transfer Call
To perform a blind transfer:
- While on a call, press the Transfer key. The active call is now on hold.
- Make a call to the person you want to transfer the call to.
- Press the " # " or Transfer key. The held call is immediately transferred to the called number.
To perform an attended transfer:
- While on a call, press the Transfer key. The active call is now on hold.
- Make a call to the person you want to transfer the call to.
- When the second call connects, you can talk with the person first.
- Press the Transfer key and the held call is now transferred to the called number.
Retrieve Messages
When the Message Waiting light is flashing, it means you have messages in your voicemail box.
To retrieve the messages, press the MWI key.
Once the messages have been retrieved, the Message Waiting light will stop flashing.
