Infinity 5006 Xstim
Introduction
The Infinity 5006 Xstim IP Phone has 6 programmable buttons and is optimized for knowledge workers and contact center agents. Programmable buttons can be configured with UCx features like BLF, Auto-Dial, Intercom, Call Pickup, and many other features.
The 5006 features a high-resolution 320 x 240 pixels 2.8" TFT-LCD display and HD quality audio.

Installation
STEP ONE: Attach the phone stand
STEP TWO: Connect the Handset and optional Headset
STEP THREE: Connect to the network and power
The Infinity 5006 phone is PoE enabled. The power adapter is extra and not included.

UCx Configuration
STEP ONE: Configure XSTIM Extension on the UCx Server
- Login to the UCx Web-based Configuration Utility.
- Navigate to PBX - PBX Configuration - Extensions page.

Add a XSTIM Device with the following basic parameters:
- User Extension (e.g. 526)
- Display Name
- MAC Address set to 0
- Click on Submit to create the XSTIM extension.
- Select the new extension from the list of extensions located on the top right corner.
- Click on Edit XSTIM Properties link.
- In the Device type field, select 5006 from the drop-down list.
- Select the Number of Lines from the drop-down list.
- Under Programmable Keys section, configure the desired keys.
- Press the Submit Changes button.
- Press the Apply Config bar at the top.
STEP TWO: Enable Set Based Configuration
The UCX Set Based Configuration feature provides the ability to associate physical XSTIM phones with UCX extensions.
- Login to the UCx Web-based Configuration Utility.
- Navigate to PBX - PBX Configuration - XSTIM Settings page.
- Configure Set Based Configuration field to Enabled.
- Enter the Set Based Configuration Password (or use the default 82950) .
- Press the Submit Changes button.
- Press the Apply Config bar at the top.
Auto Cloud Provisioning
E-MetroTel's No-Touch Cloud XSTIM phone provisioning allows customers to activate and pre-configure XSTIM Infinity phones using the Cloud Phone Provisioning Tool located on the E-MetroTel Partner Portal web site. Plug-in the phones into the LAN with internet access and the phones will retrieve their respective configuration files from the E-MetroTel Cloud repository servers.

Manual Phone Provisioning
If Auto Cloud Provisioning is used, skip the following steps steps and proceed to ASSIGN XSTIM EXTENSION.
STEP ONE: Access the 5006 phone menu
Connect the PoE enabled 5006 phone to the network and power up the phone.
The next step is to access the phone's configuration menu (XSTIM - Phone Menu).
Method 1 - Unconfigured phone
This method is applicable only when the server information on the phone is empty. This would typically apply to a brand new phone.

When the phone has completed its bootup process and the server information is empty, you will see the following message on the screen.
- Press the Configure softkey.
- When prompted for the password, enter the admin password, followed by the Enter softkey.
Method 2: Conference button
This method can be used anytime when the phone is in the idle state.
- Double press the Conference button and select Advanced. (Conference button is located on the top left of the keypad.)
- When prompted for the password, enter the admin password, followed by the Enter softkey.
STEP TWO: Configure Server Info
Navigate to the SERVER submenu. Configure the following:
- S1 IP = IP address of the UCX Server (default is 192.168.1.200)
- S1 Port = Port number for XSTIM phones (default is 7000)
Press the Save button and exit the phone menu. The phone will now connect to the configured UCX Server.
Assign XSTIM Extension
Once the phone is connected to the UCX Server, the following screen is displayed. You can now configure the extension or hotdesk to an extension.
To configure the phone, perform the following steps:
- Press the Config softkey.

Enter the Set Based Configuration password (default is 82950) and press the Enter softkey.

Enter the Extension number to be assigned to this phone and press the Enter softkey.
- The phone is now configured as an XSTIM extension.
