Login/Logout of Queue

If your extension is a dynamic member of a queue, then you have to login to the queue to start receiving calls from that queue.

Note: Static members do not need to login and logout of a queue.

To Login to a Queue

Phone Type Steps Notes
All phones 1. Dial *45 + QUEUE number
2. The system will announce that your extension has been added.
For example, to login to queue number 600, dial *45600.
Nortel phones with programmable Login/Logout toggle key 1. Press the programmed Login/Logout key.
2. The display will show "Agent logged in".
There is no need to specify the queue number. The extension is logged in to all queues in which the extension is configured as a dynamic member.
Nortel phones with Feature key 1. Press the Feature key followed by the feature code 901.
2. The display will show "Agent logged in".
There is no need to specify the queue number. The extension is logged in to all queues in which the extension is configured as a dynamic member.

To Logout of a Queue

Phone Type Steps Notes
All phones 1. Dial *45 + QUEUE number
2. The system will announce that your extension has been removed.
For example, to logout of queue number 600, dial *45600.
Nortel phones with programmable Login/Logout toggle key 1. Press the programmed Login/Logout key.
2. The display will show "Agent logged out".
There is no need to specify the queue number. The extension is logged out from all queues in which the extension is configured as a dynamic member.
Nortel phones with Feature key 1. Press the Feature key followed by the feature code 901.
2. The display will show "Agent logged out".
