The maximum capacity supported by one DSM16p module or card is 16 telephone sets. Expansion beyond this capacity is achieved by deploying multiple DSM16s.
The DSM16 is non-blocking, meaning that all 16 connected sets may be used concurrently.
For configurations that require more than the supported capacity of a single card, multiple DSM16p cards may be configured with as little as a single active digital phone up to the maximum licensed capacity number of extensions of the UCX system.
DSM16p cards can be deployed in the Local Area Network (LAN) and/or the Wide Area Network (WAN) enabling digital phone support across multiple sites served by a single Galaxy processor running UCX software, an E-MetroTel Cloud system, or UCX virtualization software implementation.
