Configuring the Main Office Route Prefix on the SRG System
In Normal mode, when SRG-capable phones are redirected by the UCX SRG to the main office server, calls received by the remote office UCX (configured for SRG) from PSTN trunks for extensions associated with these phones must be forwarded to the main office system. To automatically configure forwarding of PSTN calls, an outbound route from the UCX SRG to the main office system must be defined and the prefix used by this route must be configured as the Main Office Route Prefix.
To configure the prefix used by the outbound route to the MO perform the following steps:
- Open the UCX Web-based Configuration Utility
- From the PBX tab, select PBX Configuration
- From the left side column, select Nortel Settings
- Scroll all the way down to locate the Survivability Options section of the configuration page
- In the Main Office Route Prefix field, enter the prefix of the outbound route to the main office server
- Press the Submit Changes button to save the configuration
