XSTIM - Factory Function
Overview
From the physical phone, access the phone menu and navigate to the Factory Function page. Functions on this page are meant for factory testing of the phone.
| Function | Description |

| Audio Loopback | Test speaker, handset and headset audio, plus color display of the LED lamp. |
| Diagnostic Mode | Test all hardware keys. |
| Test Keys | Test all keys - similar to Diagnostic Mode. |
| Special Voice Test | Test sound quality of the phone. |
| Lcd Color | Test LCD color. |
Audio Loopback
1. Press lef/tright arrow navigation key to turn on the audio loopback test, speak into handsfree microphone.
- All key LEDs, power LED and mute button turn RED.
- Handsfree speaker echoes what is spoken into microphone.
- Handsfree speaker echoes what is spoken into microphone.
2. Pick up handset and speak into the transmitter.
- All key LEDs, power LED, headset and message buttons turn GREEN.
- Handset receiver echoes back what is spoken into transmitter.
- Handset receiver echoes back what is spoken into transmitter.
3. Replace handset into cradle. Press headset button,
- All key LEDs turn orange, power LED turns GREEN/RED.
- Message and headset buttons turn GREEN and mute button turns RED.
- Message and headset buttons turn GREEN and mute button turns RED.
4. Press talk button on headset and speak into headset microphone.
- Headset earpiece echoes back what is spoken into microphone.
5. Press lef/right arrow navigation key to exit test.
Diagnostic Mode
1. Press lef/tright arrow navigation key to turn on diagnostic mode.
- All key LEDs, message, headset and speaker buttons turn GREEN.
2. Press any key on the phone and the corresponding function for the key is displayed on the LCD screen.
3. Press the centre OK navigation key to exit the test.
Test Keys
1. Press the Start softkey to start the test.
- All key LEDs, message, headset and speaker buttons turn GREEN.
- LCD screen displays all the available key labels.
2. Press all keys on the phone one at a time.
- As each key is pressed, the corresponding label on the LCD is removed from the display.
3. Pick up and replace handset
- This action removes the last 2 labels on the display screen and completes the test.
Special Voice Test
1. Press the Start softkey to start the test.
- A sequence of tones is played over the speaker.
2. Press the Stop softkey to end the test.
Lcd Color
1. Press the Start softkey to start the test.
- Horizontal strips of colour are displayed on the LCD: white, red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, blue, purple
2. Press the X button to end the test.
