CallerID Lookup Sources

A Lookup Source lets you specify a source for resolving numeric CallerIDs of incoming calls, you can then link an Inbound route to a specific Lookup Source.  The Phonebook page can be used to create the number to name association.

Note that name lookup may slow down your PBX.

To add a CID Lookup Source, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the UCX Web-based Configuration Utility
  2. From the PBX tab, select PBX Configuration
  3. From the left side column, select CallerID Lookup Sources
  4. Enter a name under Source Description, this name will be referenced by the Inbound Route
  5. Select the Source Type from the pull-down list, the following types are supported:
    • OpenCNAM
    • Internal
    • ENUM
    • HTTP
    • HTTPS
    • MySQL
    • SugarCRM
    • Superfecta
  6. Press the Submit Changes button
